Brad was a kayaking friend for many years, and on many adventures in BC. We had long talks together in our group and many laughs. He enjoyed the outdoors and helped supply fish for lots of dinners. We came to know his quiet side which he tried to keep hidden. Brad will be missed but long remembered.

I have many memories of trips with Brad: backpacking on Mt. Jefferson, skiing at Yellowstone, and many cross country ski trip on Mt. Hood and elsewhere. Brad was a very fit guy and enjoyed so many activities with the Oregon Nordic Club and Mazamas.

I am so sorry for your loss. I thought Dr Crain would live forever. He was so athletic and fit. I learned to cross county ski because of his encouragement but I would never get in a tippy kayak. I hope you have lots of fond memories saved in photos.
