You and the rest of Easy Company sacrificed everything to make sure the world stayed free. You are simply part of the greatest generation to have ever walked the earth. Although I did not know Mr. Freeman and the fact that this is well over a year since his passing, I would still first like to send my condolences to Mr. Freeman's family. I ended up here because I was watching "Band of Brothers" on HBO and I Googled if there were still any surviving members of Easy Company. Sadly, Mr. Freeman was the final member to pass away. Although most of the men from that time do not see themselves as heroes, people from my generation (born 1965) do see them as that....
