Not sure what to say?

I sang with Ann Arbor Cantata Singers in 1981-83. Today, I was listening to the Mozart Great C minor Mass, and remembered our 1981 performance, and Dr Bloom's super effective and efficient rehearsals. So I looked him up hoping to send him an email thanking him for 40 years of joy listening to the music he introduced me to. Hopefully this gets to him via whatever forwarding address is available.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME SINGING IN THE MICHIGAN CHORAL 1962

NOW YOU GET TO CONDUCT THE MUSIC OF THE SPHERES IN THE COSMOS...IN THE BEGINING WAS THE WORD....SOUND...VIBRATION....and GOD SPOKE AND ALL CAME TO BE...BON VOYAGE MY BROTHER I LOVED YOU WHEN YOU WERE 18 AND WE SANG IN THE MICHIGAN CHORALE...WE ALL CAME FROM LOVE AND TO LOVE WE ALL SHALL RETURN....SEE YA ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE VISIBLE LIGHT SPECTREM...MICHIGAN CHORALE 1962

I first sang under Brad at Interlochen in 1968, he was assisting Mr. Mayer with the HS Choir, and 'Uncle Ken' Jewell with Operetta workshop. He was a pretty fun guy then, not as serious as later. Next, in 1970,I believe, he was the music director for the U of M G and S Society, we did 'Pirates of Penzance', the legendary Roger Wertenberger was the overall director, Roger was the zaniest, most creative director the G and S society ever had, and this Pirates was one of his best. I think Brad...

Dr. Bloom will be missed. May empathy from God give you comfort from such a temendous loss.

I'm looking forward to singing for you again when I can join that Heavenly Choir, Brad. :)

What an outstanding musician, teacher and human being. I sang with the Ann Arbor Cantata Singers under Brad's direction for several years. I use many of Brad's techniques to this day. We remained friends when I moved from A2 to Detroit. He's undoubtedly directing one of God's choirs in Heaven at this very moment.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I went thru grade school and high school . A lot great times water skiing and camping and double dating. A neat thing about us was we both had the same date of birth.Met his family once at his dads funeral. My thoughts and prays go with his family
