Bradley James "Brad" LaBar, 60, of Bangor, PA passed away Friday, May 12th, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA

Brad was born in Easton, PA on February 14, 1957, a son of Clarence "Curly" and Loretta (Farleigh) LaBar, of Forks Twp, PA.

He was the husband of Robin (Reimer) LaBar. They celebrated their 39 wedding anniversary this past April. Brad was the owner and operator of R.B. Oil Burner Service in Bangor, PA for for 33 years. Brad enjoyed his time gardening, being outside, fishing, and tinkering in his garage. He was a 1975 graduate of Bangor High School.

Brad was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Bangor, PA.

In addition to his wife and parents, Brad is survived by a daughter, Kelli LaBar, wife of John Johnson, a son, David LaBar, husband of Amber, three sisters, Lynette Capone, and her partner James Fritchman, Diana Kinyon, wife of Stephen, and Wendy Savercool, wife of Steven, a brother, Scott LaBar, and his partner of Kim Huff, and many nieces and nephews.

Services are private at the convenience of family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA.

Not sure what to say?

I was so shocked and sorry to read of Brad's death in the paper. Brad was my mother's and my plumber and oil burner man for many years. I don't know how many times he literally bailed us out of oil burner problems. All I had to do was call and he came. He will be truly missed.
