Not sure what to say?

My family lived in an apartment building in the Highland Park area of St. Paul MN during the late 1940´s and early 1950´s. Our family and the Brad Larson family were good friends during those days. My good buddy was Paul, Brad´s oldest son, and his youngest son, Glenn, was a friend with my brother, Terry. Our parents - John and Eleanor - thought very highly of Brad and Mary. We kept in touch for a little while after the Larsons moved to Richfield. The Larsons were a wonderful family and...

Brad in his Ryan SCW

Brad Larson was not only an exceptional and dedicated airline pilot and check airman, but a true craftsman of vintage airplanes. I enjoyed visiting with him many times at his hangar at Flying Cloud airport and later at the Santa Paula CA airport. My sincere condolences to his family.

Did not have a chance to work the line with Brad but have some fond memories of his check rides in the 707. Brad was a great credit to the prosession and will be missed by many whos lives he touched. My sincere sympathy to the family. My hopes for a smooth flight west.

My apologies. I had two great Northwest pilots mixed up. I commented on Eric Lindens accomplishments instead of Brad's. Brad was a really great check pilot who could pass on good training as well as checks. I remember him for his activities with his old airplane and the EAA after he retired. My best wishes to all of his family.

Brad Larson was one of my husband's favorite captains during his flying career. My sympathies to Captain Larson's family.

My father Ken Maxwell of Maxwell Aircraft Crystal Airport , Minnesota and Brad were good friends and highly respected each other .Brad was a mentor to me ,taught me alot to help my career at Northwest Airlines.Sympathy

Brad was one of my favorite Northwest Airlines Pilots. He was famous for his three engine ferry flights and was presented with a model of a 747 with only three engines at his retirement. He worked closely with Paul Soderlind to create safe operating procedures. A really nice person who we all will miss.
He visited our ranch on several occasions with Harry Upham to hunt prairie dogs. He was a good shot too!
