We knew Fr. Schaeffer for many decades. He was an energizing force in the multiple positions that he held, making countless friends along the way. He had an engaging smile that revealed his earnest interest and enthusiasm. He was most proud of his work on Cristo Rey, which reflected his deep commitment to education and Jesuit values. We will miss him very much. He was a true man of God. May he rest in eternal peace. With deepest sympathy and condolences to his family, Bryan & Cathy Schultz
