Not sure what to say?

Dear Lisa and family - I am so sorry to hear of Brad's death. I remember the times we all shared together when our children were young. Brad had such an easy going spirit and such a cute smile. The last time I had the pleasure of his company was at a family wedding a few years ago. We had such a nice conversation and shared a few memories of times gone by, which still makes me smile when I think about him. My deepest condolences

I didn't know your son, but I also am the mother of an addict and know the suffering you and he have endured. I am sorry for your loss. I prayed for him at Mass yesterday and I hope you find peace.

This obituary is beautifully written sharing a message of great love and support for a loved one consumed by addiction. May he be resting in the loving arms of our Lord and may God richly bless his family and friends with peace, love and hope.
