ERWIN, Tenn. – Brady Kenneth Musick, age 28, formerly of Shady Valley, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Brady was born on Oct. 11, 1978, in Bluefield, W.Va., to Kenneth Ray (Ralph) and Peggie Hutchens Musick. He was a 1997 graduate of Johnson County High School and graduated from Tennessee Tech as a diesel mechanic. He worked at Pro Diesel while attending school. He also worked at Morrell Motors in Erwin. Brady was employed as a TRF police officer for Murray Guard at Nuclear Fuel Services in Erwin.
In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters, Sherri Musick Parker and husband Bob of Kingsport and Susan Musick Cardona of Huntington, W.Va.; one brother, Fletcher Ray Musick of Erwin; fiancée, Jessica Hensley of New York; aunt, Emma Pensule and husband Frank of Kimball, W.Va.; uncle, Jack Hutchins and wife Phyllis of Shady Valley; nieces and nephews, Amanda Cardona of Scottsdale, Ariz., Mario Cardona of Huntington, Tara Musick of Kimball, W.Va., Rachel Kaye Parker and Brett Anne Parker of Kingsport; good friend, Rosemary Huskins of Erwin; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 9 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2007, at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at the funeral home, with Dr. Tom Peake and Dr. Dan Little officiating. Music will be provided by Kathy Norris. A short service and entombment will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Roselawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Princeton, W.Va.
The family will also receive friends at the home of his parents, 10350 Highway 421 N., Shady Valley.
