Honaker Funeral Home, Inc. - Slidell Obituary

Brandon Christopher “Hoss” Hostetler, 26, of Slidell, LA, gained his angel wings on Sunday, July 12, 2020.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Marc and Charlene Hostetler, his loving sisters; Stephaine Hostetler Ragas ( Larry ), Meagan Hostetler Chevolleau ( Jeremy ), his three beautiful children; Brantley Christopher Hostetler, Ava Marie Hostetler, Levi Charles Hostetler, and his grandmother; Jan Hostetler. He was the BEST Uncle "B" to his nephews, Bowen & Ryker Chevolleau and Liam Ragas. Also left to cherish his memories are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and very close friends who became our family.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charles & Naydean Leleck, his paternal grandfather Raymond Hostetler, as well as two cousins.

Brandon developed a love for sports at an early age when he began playing baseball at SBBA and football at SYFA. He later became an Umpire and Referee for both organizations. He attended Slidell High School where he loved playing football on Friday nights. Brandon was a man of many talents and could do any type of job, but his biggest passion was working as a Production Technician at the Mercedes Benz Superdome. He never met a stranger and gave all he could for anyone who needed help.

God needed our child more than we did right now and we have to say goodbye. We Love You To The Moon and Back Always and Forever.

Heartfelt thanks to Miranda Hillhouse and Nicole Taylor for giving Brandon life’s most important gifts, his three precious children. The family would also like to thank everyone for the calls, texts and kind words. It is greatly appreciated. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the memorial fund established for his children at any New Orleans Firemans Federal Credit Union branch. Checks payable to NOFFCU for the memorial fund can be mailed to

NOFFCU 1512 Gause Blvd. Slidell, La. 70458.

Donations in Brandon’s memory can also be made to NAMI St. Tammany online at namisttammany.org
