Mr. Brandon Risner

Mr. Kevin Brandon Risner, 27, of Royston, GA passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, at his home. Mr. Risner was born in Royston, GA on October 20, 1986, son of Allen Risner and Audrey Brown Risner of Royston, GA. He was an avid race car driver for 15 years having worked with Dove Roofing. He was a member of Rice Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Justice Risner; daughter, Courtney Thomason of Royston; sons, Jonathan Thomason and Josh Thomason of Royston; brother, Tony Risner of Royston; grandparents, Barbara Wilbanks of Royston and Reueben Arnold Risner of Hartwell; nephews, Kalub Head and Aiken Risner. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ruby Nell Risner and Paul Brown. Funeral services for Mr. Risner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Rice Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Page, Rev. Fred Greenway and Rev. Tammie Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Faith Valley Tabernacle Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening. The family is at the home. Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
