Braxton Isham Moody III

Mr Moody took pride in having been born in Iota. He wrote his autobiography and titled it "A Boy from Iota." , and built playgrounds and ball fields for the Town of Iota. We consulted a number of times about the book I wrote " From-Pointe-aux- Loups Through Cartville to Iota" the first 50 years. Thanks, Mr. Moody: for sharing your life with us.

On behalf of the Martin family, I would first like to offer my deepest condolences to my friend Stephen and the rest of his siblings for the loss of your father, Mr. B.I. Moody III. I first met Mr. Moody in 1978 when he´d share the videos he would take of our St. Michaels Elementary football games with a Beta Max camcorder. My condolences to the Moody family. My husband, Ray, worked as an executive for Chart House in Lafayette. BI was a fair man to my husband and family. I remember the delicious barbecue chicken the first time we visited. I fondly remember those times.
