Braxton Ray Rel

Braxton Rel, 10, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008. He is survived by his father and mother, Stephen and Lorna Rel and his brother, Preston; grandparents, Cecil and Bonnie Wilcox and Cecilia and Joe Sena; and great-grandmother, Ruby Peter. He is also survived by his Aunt Debbie, Aunt Sue, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Monika, Aunt Dani, Uncle Keith, Uncle Mike, Uncle Kevin, and Uncle Todd; cousins, Justin, Beverly, Chelsea, Aubrey, Michelle, Ashton, and Alexyss; and his pets, Freckles, Buster Brown, Sable, and Pooch. Braxton was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Wilcox and his grandfather, Bernard Rel. Braxton was a strong but compassionate goalie who loved to play hockey. He was his mother�s son. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. A reception at 10000 Signal Ave NE will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made in Braxton�s memory to the New Mexico ICE Hockey Foundation, 9530 Tramway NE, 87122, where they maintain a scholarship fund for families in need.
