Kennisyn L. Everette

Brayden Michael Everette, age 9, died on December 14, 2020 and  Kennisyn Lake Everette, age 2, died on  December 17, 2020.

A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Monday December 21, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Bobby Owens.  The family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery.

Brayden was born in Pitt County on November 18, 2011 and Kennisyn was born in Beaufort County on January 26, 2018, son and daughter of  Stephen Todd Everette, Jr. and Linsey Marie Moody Everette.

Brayden  was a student at Chocowinity Primary School.  He loved to fish and hunt and shot his first deer October of this year.  He loved the outdoors and was a big brother, who was very protective over Kennisyn, his baby sister.

Kennisyn  did not like to wear shoes, loved playing in the mud and riding the dirt bike with her dad.  She followed her older brothers around and her favorite song was “Watermelon Sugar High”.  She called chocolate milk “chot chot me milk”.

Brayden and Kennisyn are survived by their parents: Stephen and Linsey Everette; their brother, Talon Turner Everette of the home; maternal grandmother: Linda  Cash Moody Carter and husband Joey of Ayden, paternal grandparents: Stephen T. Everette, Sr. and Paulette Everette of Washington; step paternal grandmother: Stacey Everette of Washington; maternal great grandmother: Gladys Sutton of Ayden; and paternal great grandparents: Charlotte Haddock of Pinetown and Jean Moore of Washington.  Brayden and Kennisyn are preceded in death by their maternal grandfather: Kenneth Moody.
