It is with unimaginable sadness that we announce the death of our beloved daughter, Breanna “Bree” Lynn Wilson, age 22 from Jamestown, Indiana. Breanna gained her angel wings at her home surrounded by her parents; Troy and Trudie, and her brothers; Jeremy and TJ, on January 22, 2021.
Bree fought her battle with brain cancer as a fierce warrior with dignity and grace.
She was a shining, bright light inspiring many people with her vibrant personality, kindness, strength, and unwavering faith in God, despite the incredibly unfair circumstances life dealt her.
She had a love for animals, especially her adorable cat Ellie, loved to dance, had incredible friendships, loved photography and loved to travel.
She also loved winning game night with her family and friends.
She was pursuing her dream to become a nurse at the time of her death.
Bree was preceded in death by her sister: Madison Nicole Wilson, her cousin: Andrew J. Spurlock, uncle: Randy K. Spurlock, and grandparents: Richard Wilson, Patricia (McDaniel) Wilson, and Gloria J. (Fortney) Grooms.
Along with her parents Troy and Trudie (Grooms) Wilson, she leaves behind a lifetime of memories with her brothers Jeremy S. Trent and Thomas J. Wilson. She was blessed to also have her brother Jon (Nicole) Olson and two adorable nephews: Johnny and Nathan.
Also surviving are her aunts and uncles: Tracy Spurlock, Trisha (Jeff) Davis, Richard Wilson, Jim (Amy) Wilson, Cathy (Rick) Whitlatch; and cousins: Heather (Andy) Robison, Josh (Mariel) Whitlatch, Corey (Andrea) Wilson, Kayleigh (Johnny) Schmaltz, Jared Wison, Amy Wilson; and grandparent: Larry (Joan) Grooms.
Visitation and service will be held at Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg, Indiana on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Visitation will start at 4:00pm and last until the service starts at 6:00pm. A private graveside burial will be held on Monday. For those that are coming to visit, we ask that you enter Connection Pointe Church through Door #1, and masks or face coverings will be required for those in attendance.
We plan to make one of her dreams come true by creating an annual scholarship through the Western Boone Education Foundation to honor Breanna. Contributions may be made to the gofundme.com account that Bree had set up: #breelynnstrong or mailed to: Western Boone Education Foundation, P.O. Box 111, Thorntown, IN 46071.
Shine bright our sweet angel and finally dance with your sister, Madison. We will never stop missing you!
Arrangements have been entrusted to Porter & St. Pierre Funeral and Cremation Services of Jamestown, IN.

Troy, Trudie, TJ & Jeremy, Our hearts are hurting for all of of you. Words seem so inadequate when something this devastating happens. Please know you are in our hearts and prayers. Bree is in good hands with all of her family in heaven with our Lord and Savior.

First and foremost, to Bree's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I send you prayers and my deepest condolences.
Bree worked with my daughter Carlee as a fellow with truth and she was a National Youth Advocate with my son Alex with the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids. I then had the pleasure to meet Bree in Austin, TX at a conference. She remembered working with my kids and that's how our conversations started.
Bree had such a wonderful personality but even greater was her passion...

Bree & I at my 50th birthday party, Sept 2020.
Trudie, Troy, Jeremy & TJ, thank you for sharing your beautiful and joy-filled daughter with our family all these years. It's been an honor and blessing to have Bree as part of our family. We have so many incredible memories with her, and have been forever changed by her laughter, her enthusiasm, and zest for life. But incredibly, I'm most impacted by her unshakeable faith in our God, who has called her home. We adored and loved Bree like a daughter and we always will. We love you all.
