When Brenda and I were graduate students at Florida State University, we often shared tidbits of family life coupled with the rigors of academic life. Our talks were always very candid. I know that she is at peace now in more ways than one. I hope that she will be remembered for the strong Christian woman that she was. She was a good person. My hope is that the memory of her goodness will help sustain her family through this very dificult time.
