Brenda E. Cyrus

Brenda was a fantastic person. I remember hanging out with Joe and Nick at the house during the summers when I was growing up. She was always singing or humming a song. Always a smile on her face (even with the boys causing trouble). I remember how happy she was that we hung her Christmas lights just a few years ago. It meant the world to her and it made my day just to see how happy it made her. She will be missed and my thoughts are with the family.

I wish I could be there to say goodbye to such a beautiful woman. Brenday taught compassion, sincerity and authentic love. Her presecence will be missed here on Earth...wait a minute she is now an Angel...her Spirit and impact has only just begun! I love you Cyrus family and my heart and thoughts are with you.

As many of you knew- My mother and the rest of us had to watch our beloved Nick deal with a mental illness. What a terrible disease to not be able to trust your mind. These brain diseases are terribly misunderstood and so prevalent. Mom had said many times "my breast cancer is nothing compared to what Nick had to deal with" Mom and all the family are advocates for the mentally ill. Please help continue that advocacy.
