I am heartbroken to hear of Mrs. Flanagan's passing. She was always a welcoming fixture on Silo Dr. when visiting the Francis' as kids. Whether it was providing us with snacks or keeping an open offer to use the Fanagan pool, she always made my brother and I feel like part of the neighborhood. It takes a person with an open heart to allow 150 kids to her house for our Senior Prom toast. Her picture is exactly how I remember her - always smiling with a funny, sarcastic joke to make us laugh....
