Brenda and I were classmates and took piano lessons together when we were younger. In the past several years, our classmates got together annually for a luncheon at Four Brothers. We always had such a good time and enjoyed Brenda's company so much.

I am Brenda's first cousin and the last remaining grandchild of Henry and Meta Theilen, life long residents of Le Mars. Brenda is an example of a "life well lived." I will miss our occasional phone visits but I know Brenda rests in the arms of Jesus now, and forever.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Brenda, but her father Andy was the custodian at Franklin Elementary School where I attended K- 6th in the late 50s - early/mid 60s. He was the kindest man. Everyone liked Andy. My sympathies to the family.
