Not sure what to say?

Those of us on the committee remember Brenda's determination, despite her illness, to be present at the first and only Little Colonel Homecoming last October 23rd. The impact that being a Little Colonel had on Brenda's life was something that all of us shared then, and will continue to share for the rest of our lives. Brenda:
On behalf of myself, the Little Colonel Homecoming Committee, and all the Little Colonels, we are all saddened by your passing on 8/29/11. It was a great honor and tribute to the Little Colonels to have you attend the Homecoming last fall, traveling all the way from Oregon to be with us!
Thank you for acknowledging your membership in the Little Colonels in your obituary.

We express our sympathy to your husband, family, and many friends.

We plan to see you at her Memorial this Friday as we celebrate her life with you. I have a feeling she is already in Heaven redecorating it! ...

Goodbye childhood friend - Nona Hutton

Richard and family, we are so sorry. We always enjoyed our brief conversations with Brenda on your dog walks around the lake in the desert and we know how much she loved being there and what a beautiful job she did with the Laguna house. Hoping we will continue to see you there in the future. In great sympathy, Babs & Carl Rice (from across the lake)
