Brenda Lee Moore

BRENDA LEE MOORE, of Las Cruces passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 58. Brenda was born March 26, 1963 to Ethel Cahoon Carver and adopted by her “Daddy”, Tom W. Carver. Brenda and Jack Moore were united in marriage January 23, 1999 where they shared 22 joyous years together.

Brenda enjoyed roller skating with her sisters, bowling and going to the car races to watch friends and family race. She loved being with close friends and family at the “ranch” riding horses and hanging out with Grandpa Leonard. She also was a member of the Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Posse for many years. Brenda liked singing with her daughters, dancing with her husband and loved staying busy with her grandkids. Brenda was a beautiful daughter, sister, mother and grandmother who had a big, kind heart and loved giving to those in her life. She was very stubborn but she was the thread that held her family together. Brenda worked at several car dealerships around the area and at NMSU.

She is survived by her husband Jack Moore, her children; Michael and wife Lindsey Hulbert, Sonya and husband Nick Bales, Johnna and husband Norbert Valdivia, step children, Brandie, Dee Dee, BJ and Brennan; her mother Ethel Carver, her brother James and wife Viki Carver, sisters, Leila and husband Hub Hubbard, Robin and husband Rick Rogers, step-sisters LaQuita and husband Lelend Harrison and Brenda and husband Leonard Harrison, step-dad Leonard Goad, 8  grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and so many close friends and extended family. Brenda was preceded in death by her “Daddy” Tom W. Carver, mother-in-Law, “Bo” Claudine Moore, brother-in-law, Jimmy Moore, and recent death of her aunt Vivian Kerr.

Brenda was cherished and will be missed by so many.

At her request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Live Service will be held at 4 PM Friday, August 13, 2021 at Baca’s Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. Inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date.
