Not sure what to say?

You´re still in our hearts!!! Love you Mrs Smith!!!!!!

Rip miss smith. It's been ten + years since this tragic news but I know your one of my angels.

It is an understatement for me to say that my heart is saddened to learn of the passing of an "International Legend" Ms. Brenda Banks-Smith. I was blessed to be in the presence of Ms. Smith during my years at Carrie A.Tuggle Elementary School where she taught me history and music (1985-1986). As I stroll through this guest book, I am so happy to be reunited with some of my classmates from back in the day. My fondest memory of her is when she would have a little down time in between her...

My prayer are with the family. I met Mrs. Smith in 1990. I have had so many wonderful times with her. I miss her so much. I want big daddy John to stay strong and know that God needs angels to. Jonerica, John, Joy I am praying for you. The best choir director has made to heaven and whoever was the director had to get out of the way. i am thankful for the times that we shared with her. I would not have been exposed to a lot of the things that i have had it not been for her. She will truly be...

Brenda was a dear friend to me, we shared a lot of fun memories that I will treasure always. I am so sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

I will never forget the love and compassion that Mrs. Smith (Mama) showed me during my years as a college student at Stillman College. Jonerica, Joy, John-John, and (Daddy) stay strong for truly I know that you will miss her. I thank you for sharing her with the world. I will never forget the things that she taught me and the words of encouragement that she gave me. May God bless you in this time of need.

My sympathy goes to the Smith family. Brenda was a true gem. I feel honored to have known her, sing for her, with her, be her friend, and a part of her ASU and Young Hearts family.

You will be missed by many but your legacy will continue to grow...I will keep your family in my prayers
