Brenda K. Sparks

SPARKS, Brenda K. – Of Burton, age 54, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.

 

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Bristol Road Church of Christ, G-1315 West Bristol Road, Flint, Steve Cunningham officiating.

 

Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

 

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.

 

Brenda will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.

 

Brenda was born in Flint, Michigan on July 5, 1961, the daughter of Warren and Doris (Malone) Jacobs and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life.

 

On June 27, 1987 she married Richard Sparks.

 

She was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ.

 

Surviving are husband, Richard;

 

mother, Doris Gladden;

 

brother, Larry “Jake” (Chris Ann) Jacobs;

 

step-children, Richard Sparks, Jr. and Kelly Catalano;

 

five grandsons.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Warren and brother, Randall.
