Brenda Stiens

Brenda was a good friend to my family for many years. She was always very helpful both at school and out of school. We spent many hours together thrift shopping, dog shopping and removing wallpaper. One great day was when we found Charlie, her dog. We just kept looking until she found the perfect one. She would always babysit my fur babies whenever we were out of town. She hated to cook but loved cooking utensils and cookbooks, which is why I had such a great collection of cook books. ...

I am so sad to learn the news of Brenda's passing. We worked together at AH Bush decades ago. She was a great gift for all who worked and attended there. Now, three decades later, I have Robyn, one of "my" students (from years of school nursing) and Brenda's daughter living on my street! I am grateful Brenda left her legacies to always remind us of her giving spirit.
