How I met Kay Weatherford I met Kay soon after I became friends with her mother, Naomi Potter, who I met at the Murphysboro Presbyterian Church in 2012. Kay, protective of her recently widowed mother, meticulously oversaw every aspect of her well-being. It was a serendipitous meeting, because as support was offered to her mother, it brought relief to Kay, leading to a deep connection.
