A Mother's Heart
Her eyes were getting dimmer,
Her will was growing weak.
She was getting tired,
When God began to speak.
He wrapped his arms around her,
He whispered in her ear,
“Its time for you to come with me,
There's no need to fear.”
With heavy hearts we watched her go,
Her time on earth was done.
A Mother's heart stopped beating,
Her illness finally won.
Aches and pains have gone away,
She's finally at rest.
