Not sure what to say?

Brendan Fahey,

Great teacher at Cardinal Newman High School who taught the graduating class of 1954 and inspired Ed Baluch, Bob Bohemia, Ken Carpenter, Carl Dillon, Greg Elliot, Emile D'Errico, Allan MacKinnon, Claude Picard, Frank Vatrano, and me to enter the teaching profession. He will always be remembered as a kind and caring teacher.

When advised that I was scheduled to teach Latin at St. Thomas High School, I panicked. I rushed to sign up for a couple of Latin courses at Loyola College. Mr. Fahey was the prof. and he saved me from the dungeons of embarrassment.

He "saved" my career as a teacher when he managed to get me to finally pass my Math course at St. Joe's., thereby permitting me to graduate and go on to my career in education. Without him I'd have just ended up stumbling through life, A kindly, caring Gentleman.

Brendan Fahey had a lasting and extremely positive effect on my education at both Daniel OÇonnell and Cardinal Newman.
I believe he was also our football coach.

Mr. Brendan Fahey was my teacher in forth grade at Daniel O'Connell school in 1942. He was also my football coach. I admired him greatly for his patience and perseverance. He was a great teacher.

Mr. Fahey was my latin teacher for three years at Cardinal Newman in the early 50's. He was such a model teacher that he influenced me to become one. His memory will always be with me.

Just a kind, loving educator, who I had the priviledge briefly knowing at Joesph's teachers college in 1967

It was great to see his smiling face this morning in the Gazette. I did not realize he was so young when he passed away. He was my teacher at St Joseph Teachers College. I graduated in 66 and he died the next year. He was a kind and loving teacher. Sharon Sullivan Meehan
