Not sure what to say?

When I first began my Health Update series on WTIC-AM oh so many years ago, Brendan Fox was one of the first physicians that St. Francis Hospital provided for a piece on prostate cancer. That encounter led to a myriad of exchanges between us over the years. He once asked me for a copy of an interview I did with the legendary Bob Steele and I quickly complied, rolling off a copy of the show on a cassette (no CD's in those days). He also clued me in on a special relationship he had with a...

I knew Dr Fox while I was a nurse in the ICU at SFH. Always a smile, doing what was right for his patients and treating the staff with the utmost respect. A gentleman always. RIP Dr Fox

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Dr. Fox's family. I worked with Dr. Fox for many years at Staint Francis Hospital. I was a surgical technologist in the O.R. from 1975 to 1993. He was such a caring physician and wonder all around gentleman. I particularly enjoyed his brand of humor! Always a fun person to be around. May he Rest In Peace.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Fox Family.

Always that twinkle in the eyes......kind, welcoming, friendly whether as one of the Docs while I nursed in Pediatrics at SFH, or in his coming and goings. So very saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers will be with his family

There was never a Doctor so kind and respectful to the entire staff at the Hospital as Dr. Fox. He was a one of a kind Doctor and always had a smile, kind word, and listening ear for the nurses . A true Angel . He will be remembered fondly

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Sincerely Sue Grimes

Dr Brendan Fox was made an honorary member of the Society of Government Service Urologists due to his many contributions to urology and devoted service to our country. He was also very considerate of everyone and a popular, knowledgable person to talk to at the meetings and social gatherings. The SGSU and AUA will feel this as a GREAT loss. Our condolences to the Fox Family, friends and many colleagues who had the pleasure to know Dr. Fox. In Sympathy, SGSU Executive Office (on behalf of...

I had the privilege of being introduced to Big B this summer at morning mass at Saint Peter Claver Church . He always had a huge smile on his face and loved chatting a few minutes with all the ladies in the building. May he rest in heavenly peace and sending my condolences hugs and love to all his beautiful family
