Not sure what to say?

So so sorry to hear of Brendan's passing and only now when I did a search for him on the net while in Melbourne. Brendan was a year ahead of me as an ANL cadet. Remember hearing about his first trips as a cadet on the Tolga (incl photos..thank goodness we didn't have the internet then!!) Saw him in London in the late 70's or 80's when he was with Motorship. Anyway a lovely man and my privilege to have known him. God bless you Brendan.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

A great shock to me to discover today that he is gone. I recall with pleasure: the days on the Australian Enterprise (c1978) where Brendan was the core of the Kawasaki-MAN racing team; visiting him in London in '83; staying with him, and working on Spencely Street with innumerable trips to the Northcote tip in the old HG ute. And being present when he first met the lovely Bernadette for whom I pray that she may know God's grace as she comes to terms with the loss along with Max, Rosie and...

We have lost a man of outstanding decency, integrity and good nature.
