Not sure what to say?

Brendan sought me out 24 years ago when I was in Amherst MA to discuss his plans to create a Catholic Worker Community in the Berkshires! Later I experienced the fruits of his work by attending Breaking Bread Meals and the Peoples Pantry! His dream may come true in Springfield MA ! Viva Brendan!

I have planted an American Chestnut tree in my yard in honor of Brendon. I will watch it grow.

I have fond memories of Brendon who I met at 94 Huntington St. Hartford, CT. He was a wonderful entertaining cousin who always had something interesting to talk about.

It was both an honor to know him and to be related to him. I will long remember him.

I see him still, striding toward eternity, always taking the time to bend down and help someone up and insisting that this neighbor had unique, inimitable dignity that warranted God's great love. Uncannily handsome and tender yet wry, he would make me wince and wonder if I might ever do enough for humanity. Thanks for your friendship, will miss our chats in the pro shop.

Brendon was a one of a kind individual, there were no clones. Too many adjectives to describe Brendon, but the one that stands out in my mind was caring, caring for those who had less than he had. At the same time he was a tough business man, we never could reach terms on the value of a walking golf cart he didn't use anymore even though the negotiations continued over a four year period. R.I.P. my friend.

Brendon was a walking history museum. I enjoyed the many history lessons during our rounds of golf. He will be missed by all of his his golfing buddies at Tekoa CC. Rest In Peace my friend.
