I was out of town on business and didn't make your mom's, as I'm sure you know since you're watching over us, but I did toast you on your 21st with some of the business associates I was with. Brent, dude... It feels like yesterday we were all hanging out on the pike! You always brought something new to the table. I remember you calling me asking if I knew anyone that wanted a tattoo. You truly had a gift and enjoyed it! Keep an eye on everyone while you're up there hanging out. You owe me another tattoo when I get up there. I had only known brent for a very short time. I had just moved into Katrinas building and had only spoken to him a couple of times. From what i did know of him, he was a great person willing to help anyone. I am so sorry for your loss.
He will be missed.

I went to school with Brent. I remember him as a kid in elementary school and middle school. I never got the chance to get to know him. My only vivid memory was in like 5th grade or something I asked him about his necklace. It was a piece of his bike chain. I thought that was pretty cool. Since then I would see him in the hallways at school but I was too shy to approach him. I missed out on getting to know a truly amazing person.
