My heart aches at the passing of Brent. In reading his story, his life was an extraordinary one full of love for family, friends and community. I was Brent's first tennis teacher and was impressed by his hard work and talent at that young age. It is so nice to see that the seeds I sowed with him grew into his paying it forward to other children that were successful on the tennis court. Rip in Peace my friend!

Heart felt condolences to his family for their tragic loss. As high school classmates I always remember Brent being one of the good guys. He was never slow with a handshake and smile even if years had passed between our paths crossing. Rest in peace Brent.

I have known Brent since 1998 when i worked for another attorney who shared the same building. Brent was the type of guy who would not only give you the shirt off his back but the pants to if you needed them. I never heard Brent say an unkind word about anyone. He was a hardworking attorney and was a pillar in the community of Decatur for many years. I spoke to him recently and we talked about old times. The Brent that "I" knew was a loving father, friend to many and a God fearing man....
