Brent was a member of the Sigma Tau Omega Fraternity at the University of Portland. I was a pledge when I met him in 1978. I was always amazed at his positive attitude and love for life. I ran into him one day when I was up skiing with me Dad. It was incredible to see him "sledding"! His sense of humor was beyond description here.

I attended the University of Portland with Brent for two years, 1973 - 1975. We enjoyed several classes together, especially Theater Arts. I was so sorry to hear about his accident. I ran into him several times in the South Park Blocks, downtown Portland, when visiting the Portland Art Museum, and he was always his gracious and cheerful self. My condolences to Brent's family.

Brent and I met on UP's campus when I started their BSN program in 1978-1982. I joined him during a few skiing adventures and we were friends throughout my time in Portland. I moved to CA and he visited me in Manhattan Beach where we enjoyed a lovely sushi dinner together. We lost touch after that. I'll always remember Brent's positive attitude, zest for life and ability to keep his independence. I' so happy to read he had such a fulfilling life. I'm sorry I didn't get to see him again and...
