Not sure what to say?

I was so honored to be on your Christmas Buddy magazine cover. It was truly an honor. Thank you so much for inviting me to do that. I pray peace be with you and also with me.. wish I´ve been invited to the party

When "Stoney Burns" roamed the political landscape a generation of Dallas folks had reason to be inspired and to believe in a future that all people would be a part of and for that and many more reasons his passing seems to have created a void. No one in the corrupt city of Dallas really has shown the empathy, raw courage and intelligence of this man and likely no one will. RIP Stoney.

College days memories are the best. Brent and I went to a party on Speedway. Took off our pants and rang the doorbell ......Sigh

Brother Brent, once in the fellowship of ink stained wretches, past permanent retirement, memory as fresh as today, recalls your dynamic presence, humor and skills in life living. You are missed well past your leaving and live on my mind's eye now and forever.

There was never a guy who loved life as much as Brent (aka Stoney) and you lived it to the fullest. I had more fun with him than any human being I have ever known. Texas could sure use him now.

I knew Brent over forty years ago at the University of Arizona through a mutual friend from Dallas. His passions made him fun and unforgetable and drew many friends whom I'm sure will miss him. My condolences to his family.

RIP Brent Old times were fun. See you on the other side. Marshall

Brent and I were friends in the early 60's at the University of Arizona. It's been fifteen years since I last saw Brent but was planning on renewing our friendship this week. My oldest son just moved to Dallas, and I planned on calling Brent over this weekend. I think that the two of them would have enjoyed meeting and swapping stories about Brent and Dad's youth escapades. There is something important to be learned from Brent's passing, that one needs to always understand that life needs...

Much love and great memories with Stoney. He helped me get my first guitar when I was a little boy. My father Louie Solganick worked with him at Buddy Magazine. I remember so many good things and fond memories. He was around when I was growing up. The Solganick family will miss him.
