Brent J. Woodall, 31, of Oradell, New Jersey, a stock trader with Keefe, Bruyette, and Woods, was lost in the south tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Brent played football and baseball for UCBerkeley, and AAA baseball for the Chicago Cubs. He also played rugby for the New York Athletic Club for a few years. He was married only a year, and his wife, Tracy, is pregnant. They just bought their first house in Oradell, New Jersey, earlier this year. Brent was an extraordinary human being with many, many friends. He was a family man who always took care of the people he loved.

A Present That Will Live On

Brent J. Woodall always loved kids and looked forward to having his own. But when his wife tried to announce the good news subtly a few weeks ago, Mr. Woodall missed the point entirely. As a surprise for their first wedding anniversary, Tracy Pierce Woodall gave her husband a book about what expectant fathers should expect. ''He was like, O.K., thanks honey,'' said Annalisa Fredrickson, a friend visiting the couple's home in Oradell, N.J. ''That will come in handy someday.''

Mr. Woodall, a trader at Keefe Bruyette & Woods on the 87th floor of the south tower, spoke with his wife three times Tuesday morning. In their last conversation, he said he was headed downstairs. ''He is someone you always turned to in a jam, a really reliable guy,'' Ms. Fredrickson said. ''He probably stopped to help someone.'' Ms. Woodall is now eight weeks pregnant.

Not sure what to say?

Love you cousin. 20 years later, and I am still remembering the last time we saw each other like it was yesterday. Miss you so much big guy!

Dear Uncle Brent,
I'm sorry I never got to meet you. Mom or Erin misses you. No one should ever make fun of 9/11. I lost my uncle, you.

Remembering 9/11 I had the opportunity to visit the memorial and I have a photo with your name on the memorial today I remember who your were I never met you and pray for you wife and childish googles your name now your son would be 13 . God bless your family

Dearest Brent, May your legacy live on in your beautiful daughter who is now the same age as my baby girl Savannah. We met on a flight to San Francisco with my sister Emily back in 1993. You were so kind and willing to extend a smile and an invitation to a UC Berkley game you were headed to see. We all spent the weekend togther laughing and having a good time. When we returned from the trip we stayed in touch while we both worked in Kearny Mesa. Your life is our legacy and we miss you...

Dear Brent:
I had the opportunity of meeting you when you were in your last year @ La Jolla High School. I was the San Diego contact for the University of Pennsylvania Football program.
I knew when I met you that the the Univ. of Penn would be the beneficiary of not only an excellent football player, but a great person.
Our loss was the Golden Bear's gain. Good for them! Great school!
I just wanted you to know I will always remember you. God Bless you & your family.

Mr. Woodall;

The local news just interviewed your mother. She misses you very much, but she knows you're at peace and reunited with your father. The news also showed a picture of your daughter whom you never met. She is 10 years old now and you would be very proud of her. Rest In Peace.

Brent.

I knew you in high school. You had a rare combination of tremendous athleticism, good looks, intelligence and kindness. It was an honor to know you and your wonderful family.

Warmest Regards,

Gavin Millay

Happy Birthday!!!

In memory....
