My memories of Brett are many, although we only were a part of each other's lives for a brief time. I remember every sincere act of friendship, every hug, every laugh, every private joke we shared so vividly. He was one of my biggest supporters so many years ago and provided so much positive encouragement, I have not met another person who has touched my life in the way that he did. If he was this good of a friend to me, and loyal to a fault no matter what, I can only imagine what a blessing...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

Mrs. Huffar,
I am very sorry to hear about Brett. I remember sitting in your class and you'd speak very highly of him and you'd just get the biggest grin on your face, then throw a sock at somebody. I just recently loss my father but could not imagine the pain of loosing a child. My thoughts are with you, your husband, and the family and friends. Again I'm very sorrowed to hear about Brett. He was a very intellegent.
