Brett Ames, Ransom Twp., died Monday evening in Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.
Born on July 19, 1954, he was the son of the late Harold and Martha Gleason Ames. He was a long time employee of Weis Market.
Arrangements and interment in Milwaukee Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
I was deeply saddened to hear that Brett has passed. Worked with him at Boscovs. He was wonderful to work with and loved hearing his stories. And always made you laugh. He will be greatly missed.

A gentle man whom I befriended at Weis . Always so friendly, helpful....a good person with a friendly smile and optimistic outlook....I will miss him...this is a most saddening loss to all whom he was friends... I hope I may have been one...

Brett was a long time employee of mine at weis markets, his personality and demeanor were second to none. I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Brett.
