Brett-Christopherson-Obituary

Brett D. Christopherson

Obituary

Christopherson, Brett D. age 3, of Waconia, was tragically taken from us and entered into the arms of Jesus on June 23. Our loving angel Brett was given to us for 3 short years. He was a cheerful and happy little boy whose smile touched our hearts every day. He loved to keep up in the footsteps of his big brothers. His "thumbs up" personality will be sadly missed. Brett will remain in our hearts forever. Brett is survived by his loving family: parents, David and Toni; big brothers, Joseph, Ryan and Jake; grandparents, Sally Mauro, Bud and Carmyn Christopherson; aunts and uncles, Donna and John Stankovich, Joseph and Maura Mauro, Dana and Jeff Koshoshek; cousins, Jonas and Jordan Stankovich, Kate and Kevin Mauro, Karly and Kelly Koshoshek. Mass of the Angels Friday 10:30 AM, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waconia. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM, Johnson Funeral Home, Waconia, 952-442-2121 and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Vigil prayers 7:30 PM Thursday evening. Interment Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. www.johnsonfh.com

Not sure what to say?

My son and I were just out for a walk and came across a memory stone by a tree that was planted in honor of Brett. We came home and googled it and found this guest book. Sending prayers of peace & healing to you and your family. The tree is a very nice tribute. Julie & Kevin & Jack

Hi David and Toni you may not remember me, my name is Katherine and I was the same age as Brett when it happened. I lived down the street, but we moved to Iowa. I wanted to say that even though I was three when it happened it effects me now. Love,Katherine

My daughter is in heaven too. And I know how anniversaries can be difficult. Please know he is remembered, never forgotten and safe and loved in heaven.

I have never met you, but I have thought about you every day since Brett's accident. Words cannot express how sorry I am. I am a mother of 3 little boys. There's something very special about raising boys. I pray that you are finding comfort.

Dave & Family,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless.
