I met Brett when his brother, Juston was sick. I took Juston's grandmother to visit him in the hospital and at home. I was very impressed with Brett. He was so sweet and caring. He talked to me about several things he was interested in and we discussed baseball cards. He couldn't belive I use to collect them years ago.
My heart goes out to his family. I know Juston well and I know the entire family is in such pain.
God is helping our family through the recent loss of our dad. I...

Bill, Frankie, Family, Friends, & Faith Mike'l,
I am Faith's Mom, Danielle, I just wanted everyone to know that words cannot express how Brett was so special to all of us. He met a friend everywhere he went. And nobody could say otherwise about him. You immediately liked or loved Brett. He might of been quiet at times, but he wasn't quite sure what to say at that time. After he got to know you he wasn't very quiet then. My husband & I will dearly miss him. My daughter will overcome...

I wish that I could give my heart to Bill and Frankie Colvin to make their sorrows go away, but I fear mine is broken also. I am Brett's sister-in-law Valarie Colvin. I have known Brett a little over 3 years now and I can only wish I had known him longer. He was such a great young man. He had a subtleness about him that was so comforting. He was so talented as well. I loved it when he would come over to my house with his guitar. It is going to be hard to imagine life without him but I guess...

Frankie,

I was so shocked to here about Brett. I couldn't believe what I heard on my machine today. I can not imagine what you and your family are going through. I am so sorry for your loss and we are praying for all of you. I know that no words can ease your heart right now, but what everyone has said about your son through this guest book is so touching. If there is anything that we can do for you, please let us know.

Dear Frankie and Juston,
I just found out about Brett and wanted both of you to know how saddened my family and I are for you both. I did not have the priviledge of knowing Brett but he sounds like a wonderful son and brother. My heart breaks for you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Linda Oliver (Dwayne's cousin)

Hi, Everyone! I am Brett's girlfriend. He was such a sweet Christian boyfriend and he only cared of others. He always put himself last. He taught me so much! I know it may seem impossible for us to have found love at such a young age- I thought that he was crazy at first- I fell for him bad. He was caring, funny, and lovable. Everyone that met him instantly liked him there was nothing to dislike. Well, he may be gone from this Earth, but I will see him again in Heaven. I know that he is...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. My boys Daniel and Scotty really thought Brett was a very special person. May God and the Angels look over your Family.
