Not sure what to say?

Where do I even begin? Brett was such a huge blessing in my life and he showed me how incredible friendship is. Brett and Abby and I worked at camp together, and somehow, in almost every picture we have, Brett and I are together and Abby is nowhere to be found. Brett always joked about our little "escapades" together without Abby. Those are times that I will truly cherish for the rest of my life. Brett was such an amazing person and showed each of us how to live life to the fullest, no matter...

Brett was loved so much by everyone. He touched all of our lives in so many ways. If I was having a bad day, it would become so much better the moment that I saw Brett's loving smile. He also knew that his hugs were needed by all. I will always remember Brett and the amazing impact he had on my life. I know that he will always be watching us, and we will feel the love that he is sending from above.

Abby,
Justin and I are praying for you constantly, through what must be an incredibly hard time in your life. Brett was an amazing, supportive and upbeat person. We will all miss him very much. Abby, know that we love you and have about 100 people between here and Alaska praying for you.

Abby,
You are so incredibly strong - may God continue to bless you in this difficult time. We are always here for you, and you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

Abby,
I know it has been a long time since we have seen eachother or even talked but I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I did not know your husband but he must have been a great person. My family is praying for you in your time of great sorrow.

Dear Abby,

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. It's been a long time since we have talked but you are always in my thoughts. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Love,
Laura (Schoeffel) Oldin

Brett was the most incredible Sweetheart that our sorority could have asked for, and he was more of a friend to me than I could have ever deserved. The last time I saw him we were at a restaurant. I sat next to Brett, and every time I got up from the table and then returned, he made sure that he stood up and pulled out my chair for me. I could tell it was difficult for him, but it was more important to Brett to be a gentleman than to make himself comfortable. Whenever I was around him, he...

Abby,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

It's hard to find the words to say when you lose someone you called a brother, a friend, and someone you greatly admired for their strength and courage. Brett will truly be missed by all that knew him and everyone who saw his will to succeed, overcome, and conquer. One of Brett's greatest attributes was his positive outlook on life, and how he not only overcame a lot, but attained many of his goals in a time of obvious struggle. This was a true testament to me on how to look at life, and be...
