Not sure what to say?

To the Hamm Family~
Brett was a special man~he touched so many lives in a positive way. He will be missed by many! I met Brett about 20years ago, lost touch and recently got back in touch with him before this tragic accident. He was a great friend with the most wonderful smile. His light burned out way too soon! I pray God gives you peace and comfort and that you seek comfort in your memories until the day you are reunited with him again in heaven! God Bless,

Maralee and the boys,

Brett and I always enjoyed calling each other...hello Brett, this is Bret. It got old, but we each time we always laughed. We had the same corny sense of humor, so we made the most of it.

That's the way most of our conversations started and finished...he was engaging and and friendly. He was always interested in how I was doing and had a smile when I saw him.

He was a good man and a good friend and I will miss him.

Maralee, I know you and Brett have been divorced, however, our hearts go out to the family, Brett’s family and his beautiful boys, Austin, Tyler & Gabe. Please seek comfort in your faith, and don’t let the situation allow bitterness to grow inside. We will miss Brett terribly and we will keep praying for peace. God Bless!

Maralee, Austin, Tyler and Gabe,
Your are all in my prayers. You were such great neighbors and friends when we all lived in seminole point. Hold on to the good memories and know that God will wrap His arms around you.
Maralee, remember the scripture God gave you a few years ago- Jeremiah 29:11-14. Hold onto that and rest assured He never fails...please know I'm here for you.

Maralee, Austin, Tyler & Gabe,
We send you our love during this difficult time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God help you be strong and may your memories make you smile with happiness.

My thoughts and prayers are with Hamm family. I had the blessing of knowing and working with Brett for several years, and during that time he became more than just a colleague. He was my good friend. Brett will be miss dearly by so many. My hope is that with the passage of time the pain that the Hamm family is experiencing will be eased, and those fond memories will become stronger. My family and I will keep all of you in our prayers.

Maralee, Austin, Tyler, and Gabe: Always know that we will be there at a moment's notice. We loved Brett and always will, and you have our love and support now and forever.
Henry and Susan Mogilka, Ian, Monique, and Kelley

May the Lord guide you and protect you in this time of grief.

Maralee, Austin, Tyler and Gabe -

I heard the sad news on Sunday of last week and have prayed for you constantly since then.

Brett's been a friend through the years and though it had been too long since we were last in touch, he and I always seemed to be able to easily pick up from where we left off. I think that's probably the case for many who knew Brett and it speaks to his gifts as a person and friend.

It saddens me so much to lose him as a friend. It was too...
