Not sure what to say?

It's still rather shocking to me that you are no longer here with us in person, but I know that you are still with us in our hearts. I hope that you are in a heaven that resembles the Thai culture you loved so much. You are most definitely missed!

Uncle Brett-- it is such a shame that it has only been a couple of years since we got to really know each other and have a real relationship, but you were one hell of an uncle. Every day I would get your emails about music, baseball, and politics and you ALWAYS made me think and become a better person myself. Wherever you are now, know that the lessons you have taught me in the short time we knew each other will never go unnoticed and will be a part of me in everything I do for the rest...

Deepest sympathy... I lost a best friend way to soon but eternal memories of our youth will live on. Thank you for sharing your laughter and love for music. You were one of a kind Knapper...

Brett is gone too soon but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His wonderful spirit and warm smile will replace the sorrow some day. Heaven gained one more angel in Brett and may he rest in peace. My love and prayers to all of his family.

Thank you BK! You were a friend and mentor. My sincere condolences to the Knapp family. RIP.
