Teen age years in El Paso in the seventies--a tumultuous time. Brett was a wonderful friend who helped me to understand life. We talked about philosophy. He read Wittgenstein but could never get me to understand it. We talked about poetry. We debated. We laughed. We experienced the world as only teenagers can.
