Henniker - Brett E. Lund, age 55, of Hall Ave passed away suddenly on September 17, 2022.


He was born in Glenwood, MN the son of the late Torbin and Mary (Gruesz) Lund.


He received his master’s degree in public health from the University of NH.  He worked for many years at Concord Hospital.   Brett was a Veteran of the US Army.


Brett was an avid telemark skier, he volunteered on Ski Patrol at Pats Peak alongside his wife, Raelyn, for many years. Brett worked at Concord Hospital. He enjoyed mountain biking, fly fishing, golf, and hockey.  He also loved coaching his girls’ sports teams and going on adventures with his family. His selfless nature and approach to life allowed him to be admired and loved by all who knew him.


In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Nate Lund.


Brett is survived by his wife Raelyn Viti and their daughter Neve Lund, and his stepdaughter, McKenna Whittier all of Henniker; 2 sisters, Vicki Lund of Davis, CA and Katie (Lund) Kleist of Naples, FL; 1 brother, Mike Lund of Ellijay, GA; many nieces and nephews, and cousins; his In-laws, and many close friends that are like family, too many to name.


A celebration of life will be held on October 29th, from 3-8 PM, at Pats Peak, 686 Flanders Road, Henniker.


In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Brett’s memory to the Mayhew Program, 293 W. Shore Road, Bristol, NH 03222.

I worked with Brett for 14 years and he was one of the kindest and most giving man I know. He always had this huge infectious smile and a great laugh and he so enjoyed making others happy. His family was his life and his priority and I can’t imagine the hole he left behind. My deepest sympathies to Raelynn and your girls, my heart breaks for you all
