Brett will always be in my heart, and his music will continue lives on forever

On behalf of Brett's wife, Sheron, and many of Brett's friends, I have the honor to invite you to a very special memorial service celebrating Brett's life on Friday, August 23, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at McFarlin Memorial Church, Fenn Hall, 419 S. In response to the many requests made to help in some way, Sheron has lovingly honored Brett's...

Dear Walker Family,
I'm a recent fan of Brett's… I found his music a few months ago and loved it. My friends and I even used a clip of “Out of Sight” for a school video project. I had been working on a cover of Out of Sight as well, and was planning to show him when it was done. A few days ago on the 25th, I found his YouTube page and sent him a message:
“Brett,
Just wanted to say thanks for singing / writing the song “Out of Sight”. I heard it on a “Best of undiscovered 80s”...

After meeting Brett and Sheron, I knew they belonged together. I had the priviledge of sharing some great memories. Cheers to the Four Flying Funditos! My heart goes out to you Sheron.

Brett ways always the best of friends. I remember the days at John Adams elementary, you lived across the street and we would always go to your house and grab some lunch from mom. Brett will forever be in our memories. Remember the goods times and all the love that Brett gave to so many people, our prayers are with you. Love you guys.

Brett Walker's lyrics were brilliant and were true insight into who he was. "Give Me Back Tomorrow" is one of my favorite songs ever. He will live forever through his music.
Rest in peace.
