Not sure what to say?

My condolences on your loss. My father and mother (Joseph and Florence Ryan), as well as myself, were patients of Dr. Doust. Both of my parents held him in very high esteem. I too, am thankful for the compassionate care and thoughtful guidance that were his hallmark behaviors. His was a life well lived, much admired and most appreciated.

Sincere condolences to the family. Brewster Doust was held in high regard by my late husband Dennis and me. He was a special human being.

Brewster had many friends at the University of Rochester and all of us feel blessed for having known him. His smile, inquisitive mind and generosity of spirit were infectious. His legacy of endowed support for the College Writing Program in his brother's name (Dudley) and for the Dr. Bernard Guyer Lecture in support of Public Health will both serve as living memorials to his generosity and caring. On a personal level, his commitment to his wife during her long illness was an inspiration....

Brewster was an outstanding Physician, a mentor and a humanitarian at heart. He never coveted nor expected accolade, but for the joy that he received by helping others. His friendship was sincere and uplifting, and his humility was warm and reassuring.
Sincere sympathies to his family from my family and myself.

It has been an honor to know you Doc. You are among the nicest people I have ever known. You were a friend I enjoyed seeing every time we ran across each other. I will never forget our conversations. I know you are not gone Doc. You just moved. We will be running across each other again in the not-too-distant future. Bless you and your family. Till the next time Doc, take care...and as I've always told you Mike sends his best

How very sorry I am that this wonderful man is gone from us. I will miss seeing him at Planned Parenthood events and hearing his views on current politics. You will be missed, Dr. Brewster Doust. My condolences to your family and friends.

Brewster was a wonderful person. I enjoyed his intelligence, humor and common sense. He did so much for people in his community. It was an honor to know him. Carolyn Parr, Planned Parenthood of Central and Western NY

I fondly remember Dr Doust , what a good friend he was to my father and mother. I am so sorry to hear he has passed.

A true original - a great guy, a devoted husband and a very accomplished and respected Doctor of Medicine. His legacy is his children and grandchildren.
