BRIAN ANTHONY MOSS, 34, of Sperry, Okla., an electronics technician in the Navy, was someone who looked out for others. "I've seen him give away his lunch money as a kid to those he felt needed it more," said Pat Moss, his mother. Moss' parents said they wanted to do something appropriate with the money they received from well-wishers. So they used it to establish a scholarship fund in their son's name to help out a community-oriented Sperry High School student.

Not sure what to say?

My name is Matthew Cagle and I'm with the American Legion Post 141 in Claremore Oklahoma. We had a local business drop off items that I believe belong to Brian Moss and his family. Please contact me at [email protected] or by FB messenger.

I have been on this page several times in the past, and have basically said the same thing each time. But I do so that Brian's family will continue to know that his sacrifice is not forgotten. My daughter and her husband (also a sailor) knew Brian and thoght so much of him that they named their first child after him. So every time we see, talk to, or even just think of our Brian, we think of Brian Anthony Moss. We always will.

Still remembering you and your family.

Wow 20 years ago today Brian you sure are missed and thought of every time I look at your picture it reminds me of that smile you would have when I would come in to work and it would always be a fun evening at work because you always made everybody laugh still after 20 years you still are missed and thought of take care of God bless you my friend

Brian, last year I took my family to Arlington to lay a wreath on your grave stone and to introduce my family to you. You have not and will not be forgotten shipmate. To your family no that you are in my thoughts and prayers throughout the years and not just on September 11th.

Even after 20 years I strive to be the leader that others look up to, like you were for me. Never forget.

As my earlier comments have stated, my daughter and her first husband (Navy sailor) knew Brian in Washington and loved being with him. So much so that they named their first child Brian. Brian graduated from high school this year and is a fine young man. The point of this message is to again tell Brian Moss's family that he is not EVER forgotten by those who know and love our Brian. I doubt that the passing of time has decreased your pain, but please remember Brian's life and sacrifice are...

It’s almost surreal that it’s been 20 years. Kids off to college that weren’t even born yet. I often remind myself of these daily things you where robbed of that horrible day. Peace to you and your love one’s brother. Tm2/ss Dylan McComiskey SSBN 731 B 1992-1995
