Knew Brian in medical school. Then later when he lived in Maryland. So sorry to see this Brian was a lovely and gentle man. Sooo sorry to learn of his passing. Sandy and Lyne Genser

Today we received Adelphi's magazine 2024 and were very saddened to see Brian's name in their "Remembering" column. Both Betty and I have the fondest memories of Brian as a fellow-student and dear friend during college. I was a physics major a year ahead of Brian, and Betty was Pre-Med Biology a year behind Brian - although they often had classes together. I knew Brian from the prettyunique Adelphi Science program they had - he in the Marine Biology area and me at the Physics Lab they set...

My deepest condolences to the Altman family. Dr. Altman will be sincerely missed. I remember fondly him always being so welcoming and generous to me as a young kid, and I always admired him for being such a great dad to Brad and Robin.
