In Memoriam: Brian Neil Anderson (August 21, 1970 - November 22, 2023)

Los Angeles lost a compassionate soul on November 22, 2023, as Brian Neil Anderson, a devoted registered nurse, bid farewell at the age of 53. Born in Modesto, CA on August 21, 1970, Brian's life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to healing and caring for others.

Brian's impact extended beyond the hospital walls, touching the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of kindness, empathy, and professionalism in the healthcare field will be remembered by his colleagues and numerous patients.

Brian is survived by his loving husband, Cecilio Asuncion, with whom he shared a deep bond built on friendship, love, support, and shared dreams. His sister, Jennifer Leicham, and brother-in-law, Christian, mourn the loss of a dear brother, while nieces Annabel and Eloise will forever cherish the memories of their beloved uncle. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra McKean and father, Alan Anderson.

In honoring Brian's memory, let us celebrate a life dedicated to selfless service, love, and the pursuit of making a positive impact on the world. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the compassion he brought to his role as a healer.

May Brian Neil Anderson rest in peace, his spirit of kindness enduring in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a kind and wonderful friend. We will all miss you deeply, but never forgotten my friend.

Brian, if only I got to know you, but through me knowing Cece and how incredible he is, I can only imagine how wonderful you were. Rest well my friend

Brian was an extraordinary person. I'm glad I had the privilege of knowing him.

Oh Brian, i just saw you. Just spoke to you. I can’t imagine what my life in LA would be without your impact and I’m glad to have known you. I thank you so much for your kindness, your sense of humor, and your friendship. Until we meet again in the great beyond love. You will be with us always, i know you’ll be watching over CeCe and your family.

Love always, your friend Arisce

Very kind and great nurse to work with. When we had change of shift, he always made this shift change pleasant and was always happy to work with him and share information. He always made me feel welcome and took my anxiety away. I remember him always offering to help and was able to teach me things when I didn't know what to do. He will be missed.

My heart goes out to my dear friend, Cecilio and Brian’s family. We only met once and I truly wish I’d gotten to know you. Rest in peace, Brian

Rest in Power you Beautiful Soul!

That beautiful face and smile, forever embedded in all of us. Brian you never made me and my hubby feel like strangers every time we would see you either LA or Palm Springs. You were always inclusive among your peers. It is heartbreaking to know you’ve joined the angels in heaven. Till we see you again, with love as always. Marconi & Adam Cafege

Thanks you for being a friend glad to have known and worked with you.
