Not sure what to say?

My heart is with you and your family, Denise. I first got to know Brian a very long time ago when we were kids in St. Mary’s School in Nutley. He and I were in many of the St. Mary’s Theater Guild productions together. We went on to spend a great deal of time together during the Sing Out Nutley—Up With People years, and I will always look back fondly on all the wonderful fun we had growing up as good friends. There are no words to adequately describe the kind of person Brian was as a...

Denise - We will miss Brian so much. He knew how to have fun and he enjoyed his friends and family very much. If you need anything or someone to talk to, we will always be here for you, Kristen, Kevin & Steven.

Brian was a great person and I will never forget the wonderful times our Summer Gators family shared together. We shared many laughs, cheered together and of course there was Fudrucker's. Kristen,Kevin and Steven are a beautiful reflection of the kind of people Brian and Denise are. It is never an easy time to accept the loss of someone you hold so dear to your heart and no words I could ever express will ease the pain. I will keep you all in my prayers and hope that the passing of time...

I only met Brian a couple of times, but I have felt his positive influence for many years. Brian went to college with my brother Wayne. I met Brian when I borrowed costumes from him for a play I was directing. Then we ran into each other at Kean reunions from time to time. It was an honor to get to know him just a little bit. He will be very much missed in Nutley and Bloomfield. Wayne and I send our deepest condolences to Denise and the family.

I only knew Brian for 2 months during my first year of teaching at Bloomfield High School. He went out of his way to cordially greet me with a big smile. It was very comforting to me and I'll never forget it. He was a great man.

Brian will always be remembered as a gentleman, a scholar and a role model. He has influenced countless lives.
May the road rise to meet you...

Dearest Friends,
Our hearts are filled with sadness. Brian was a breath of fresh air.He will be missed more than words could ever express. Your family holds a very special place in our hearts. We are lucky to have known Brian and glad to have spent many good times with him and all of you.
May God Bless you now and always.

Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Newark owes a great debt of gratitude to Brian. He was a Christian man who passed through our lives and who brought good things to all he met along the road. He was a great role model for the students. I am grateful for his strength and perceptive on life. The world has lost one of the "good guys." It is up to all who knew Brian to carry on.

Thank you, Brian.

I was saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I taught with him at Essex
Catholic in East Orange from '82 to '85 and fondly remember him for
always being upbeat, fun-loving, and seriously committed to his work. I know he touched countless people's lives and he will be missed
"dramatically". My deepest condolences to his entire family. Mark Miller - Essex Catholic Class of 1978
