Brian “Keith” Broussard embarked on life’s journey on September 2nd, 1961.
Brought into this world as the first-born child of Leonard and Joyce Bryant. Keith’s faith was a cornerstone in his life; he accepted Jesus Christ into his heart during his youth when he was baptized at East Mount Olive Baptist Church. Keith would continue to nurture his relationship with Christ throughout the entirety of his life.
Whilst in his youth - Keith roamed the halls of West Oakland Elementary School, Crockett Junior High School, Beaumont Charlton Pollard High School, and would go on to attend Lamar University.
Keith not only thrived in his academic pursuits, but he was also a big brother to his four younger siblings, and he worked alongside his father in their paint and body shop where he developed a love for cars. Keith would go on to graduate from Lamar to become one of the only black engineering students to be granted employment with a fortune 500 Company (Eastman Kodak).
In 1997 Keith decided to exit Eastman Kodak to build his own company and pursue a career as an investor and entrepreneur. Keith served as a steward of the people - offering mentorship, wisdom, and guidance to anyone who was open to learning. Keith was a master of many trades and yearned to pour his knowledge into young men and women.
Keith's passions shifted throughout his life but one thing lasted for a lifetime - Keith loved to dance, and his moves will forever be etched in our memories. Keith could be relied on for his charisma, comedy, skills on the dance floor, musical taste, and sound guidance. His contagious smile, infectious energy, and infectious presence would be felt no matter the setting.
God remained a pillar in Keith's life, which led to his tenured service as a deacon at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Sonda Darden Broussard was the love of Keith's life - his best friend, confidant, and biggest fan. She became his wife on September 3, 1988.
On Thursday, May 5, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones, Keith made his transition to be with God. He was preceded in death by his parents and many loved ones dear to him. He leaves behind an abundance of love and memories that we will forever cherish. Keith is survived by a devoted
